WELCOME TO BEAR ISLAND
An island once sat within the grounds of the Brewery in Faversham Creek.
Over the centuries much strange cargo landed here, including 'one bear and his keeper'.
Our Bear Island brews salute our great trading past with hops imported from the US combined with native British hops.
NOUGHTY BEAR 0.5% IPA
The newest addition to the Bear Island range, Noughty Bear is a refreshing, light golden beer, combining the pine and spice notes of Challenger hops from the UK, with the tropical fruit and citrus flavours of Amarillo, Cascade and Citra hops from the US.
The recipe has been carefully formulated to ensure that despite its low alcohol content, Noughty Bear doesn’t compromise on taste or quality. It also has just 70 calories and less than 1g of sugar per 330ml bottle, making it the lighter choice in every way.
Tasting Notes
Light, refreshing citrus/ tropical fruit notes, with sweet mangos, hints of passion fruit and tart grapefruit. Well balanced with medium intense hop hit so very drinkable. Clean refreshing aftertaste, little linger. Lowish bitterness.

BEAR ISLAND TRIPLE HOPPED LAGER
Bear Island Triple Hopped Lager is a new, hop-forward 4.6% lager from Britain’s oldest brewer.
Distinctive in both flavour and design, the bright colour pallet reflects the burst of tropical fruit aromas such as mango and passion fruit, which derive from the US mosaic hops used as a dry hop in the final of three hopping stages of the brew. The subtle malts then leaves a clean, smooth and refreshing finish expected of a lager.
Bittering hop: Challenger (UK) • Late hop: Saaz (EU) • Dry hop: Mosaic (US)
